Jessie J’s sell-out North-East concert this weekend has beaten the weather and will go ahead, it has been announced. Organisers KAL Music have confirmed that the show on Saturday night at Alnwick Castle will go ahead, despitefears that recent heavy rain had left the grounds unsuitable. Spokesman Keith Louch said:
“We are 100 per cent confident that the Jessie J concert will take place. Despite the many rumours, there was never any doubt that the concert wouldn’t go ahead.”
The extremely wet conditions of the past few weeks have made ground conditions difficult in places, but preparations are well underway and the stage is being built. Fans are recommended to wear sensible clothing and footwear, and share cars where possible to ease traffic and parking. There will be ample parking on-site, but ground conditions may be difficult, so where possible ticket-holders are advised to park in Alnwick and walk to the concert, or walk from home if they live locally.
So Jessie opened the channel 4 comedy gala with ironically ‘Stand up’ (The Song) also being joined on stage by a Jessie J look a like, he wishes, Alan Carr.
Jessie also visited Great Oldmen Street Hospital in London, meeting children who 14 years ago where like her. Check it out
