Jessie and Joan had a chat the night before Jessie’s gig at the Roundhouse in London. They talked about the Olympics and Joan quizzed her on English slang and getting her to translate for those of us not raised with a BA in UK vernacular.
“It’s been an electric infectious feel. London just feels like the place to be right now.”
Jessie J’s ecstatic about the Olympic games taking over her hometown this summer; and she also has some ideas about events to be added to the roster in the future.
“I think it would be who could sing in tune the best whilst running on the spot. ‘Cause I do that on stage to keep myself fit. So that maybe could be a good one. Domino’s not easy to sing and jump up and down but I can’t help myself.”
Here’s a little interview of Jessie, a few weeks back, casually being cute playing Flick Football (whatever that is)
Here’s a super long interview with Jessie at Beat TV talking about Camden Town
Also check out a 4 minute interview with Jessie Presented by Coca-Cola.
A six-year-old Jessie J super fan said he was still ‘buzzing’ today following his on-stage appearance with the pop star at her sell-out concert in Shropshire. Bradley Bishop, from Harlescott, Shrewsbury, was picked out of the crowd during the star’s show in The Quarry on Friday – and accompanied her to sing her hit Price Tag. The youngster, who attends Grange Primary School, was a natural in the spotlight and won the admiration of the 11,000-strong crowd with his singing and dancing.
Your probably wondering who Falguni and Shane Peacock are well, they are two Indian fashion designers, on Monday night Jessie performed in front of the royal family wearing one of there designs, and when asked what they thought of Jessie wearing there gown they replied:
”It is always a fantastic feeling when an international style icon chooses to wear one of our outfits. Jessie has a unique style which matches our design sensibilities. It was great to have Jessie wear one of our gowns for her performance”, Shane said.
Giving details about the gown, Falguni said,
“Jessie’s representative asked us to send them a few options for the event. We sent her this gown as an option since we knew it would be her style. It is a black net sheer gown with blue feather embellishments, red and gold piping and metal detailing. It had hints of the union jack in its design which drew her attention and she instantly chose to wear it.”

Jessie J on her style
“I started to look like a cartoon character with the fringe and the catsuits. Yes, I want to change and mix it up. I want to change my hair, change my style. I want to be allowed to grow.”
Jessie on her beauty look
“Maybe I’ll dye [my hair] a pastel colour or plum. I’m thinking this black is too harsh. It’s all about the eyebrows for me at the moment, I’m channelling Frida Khalo.”
