Jessie J has confessed that her new studio album could be acoustic based as she wants to give a new direction to her music. Jessie said that she wants to focus on finding the melodies rather than relying on heavy production on the new songs. She said:
“One thing I’m doing is recording songs acoustically and building on from there. The last album was very production-based and beats heavy. It was more people coming to me with rhythms and me writing to them. This time I want to focus on where the melody goes rather than the beat. One song in particular I’ve written is very close to my heart. It’s just me and the piano. It’s an exciting process.”
Jessie is also conscious of anything leaking out before it’s finished and revealed that no one gets to hear anything before her mum and dad. Talking about the new songs, she added:
“I haven’t played them to anyone. I’m so paranoid the songs will get leaked or my computer hacked that nobody gets to hear them until they’re ready – only mum and dad.”

Jessie attended Universal’s Brits Afterpaty last night at the Tate Modern In London she was photoed with Will.I.Am at the party check out the photos by clicking on the thumbnail below.

“I had to really bring myself together and go, ‘You can do it Jess, the audience were people that I’ve listened to and been inspirations. It wasn’t easy”.
Jessie went on to talk about her encounter with Bobby Kristina.
“She was like, ‘My mum is here and wants to meet you. Whitney was one of my huge inspirations, I’ve always spoken about her. She made proud to have a powerful voice. There’s a lot in the industry that isn’t about vocals and Whitney Houston was all about that – that’s what I’m trying to carry on. I was very proud to be representing the UK on such a kind of memorable night,” said Jessie J. Whitney Houston is someone that will never be forgotten and her music will live on forever.”
